Staff Accountant

We are currently seeking motivated candidates for our Staff Accountant position located at our Corporate Office in Falmouth, Maine.

As a Staff Accountant, your responsibilities will include performing accounting and bookkeeping functions for the company, including financial reporting, payroll, budgeting, account reconciliation, processing Accounts payable and Accounts receivable. You will play an integral role in controlling expenses through analysis and verification of invoices and expense reports, while also ensuring compliance with all tax and government regulations.

Additional required skills and abilities:

• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
• Must maintain a level of flexibility to tackle new projects and initiatives in a creative and efficient way
• Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and evolution

Position Qualifications:

• AP / AR, Reconciliation, General Ledger, P&L experience preferred
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, accounting or equivalent
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn new programs
• Hands-on experience with modern accounting software; Experience with Sage Intacct preferred
